Looking forward to a musical reunion with Dave Gillespie on guitar, Mark Perna on bass, and Eric George on drums. We’ll be playing some deep catalogue songs, some unrecorded songs, as well as selections from Looking for the Light (2021), my sixth recording of original folk/roots songs, and Montréal Encore (2022), a French-language recording created in collaboration with the poet Bernard Pozier. Eve Goodman, a fellow Pittsburgh songwriter and friend with significant Nashville time and some stellar recordings under her belt, will do an opening set. Her latest project is a Youtube series called Pittsburgh SongScapes filmed in various city neighborhoods. Doors at 6:00, music starts at 7:00 PM.
